Moral Center

The moral center is the ethical decisions that one makes. Is it right, is it wrong. When we are talking about characters in a story there is aways a moral center that all of their decisions come from. You see a lot of the time in stories the character will always come across an issue that makes them question things, and go back to their own moral center to make the ultimate decision. In journalism your moral center should make you tell the truth. The public has a right to know the truth and the journalist has a responsibility to tell the truth. But it all goes back to the journalist moral center.
